Our Life

So I have been trying to upload pictures to the blog for a couple of weeks now and the internet just hasnt been fast enough. So sorry for the lack of pictures of what is going on in our lives but this is a little of everything.

I got a sewing machine and I made the crib sheet and bumper pad for Monsons crib. They dont have cribs here because kids just sleep with their parents. And if you do find one its like $1200 which is outrageous. So we had one hand made which means that there is no bedding for it. I was proud of myself for how it turned out.

This is Maelyns new backpack. She loves Dora. Here everyone starts school at age two because parents work. So she is actually behind the other kids. We got her in a very nice school that is close to home and Victors work. Her class goes swimming once a week and she love it. On the playground they have all the normal equipment plus a trampoline so that is her favorite part of the day.

This is my big girl in her school uniform. I cant believe how fast she is growing up. She recently came down with her first case of Malaria and she fought it really well.

My little guy is 3 months, almost 4 now and he is so fun to have around. He is discovering his voice and loves to smile at people. Although he still doesnt like to be held by very many people besides his mother. I started using cloth diapers on him and I actually really like it. I thought people were crazy who still did it today but its not that bad!

Wow! Awesome job on that crib bedding, Katie! That's crazy that there's no cribs. Cool you were able to have one made for you.

Maelyn looks so cute in her little school uniform. :)

so did you find a mattress for the crib? Is maelyn's school more like a daycare or a kindergarten? She does look really cute....Malaria already? did you freak? How long did it take her to get over it.

Monsons soooo cute, hey we should talk tomorrow, kristen says your usually on around 11, I am going to try to be on skype or at least facebook. And don't forget to put pics on of you.

Great job on the sewing!
Love the uniform, sad to hear about the Malaria though!
That is the first picure I've seen of Monson, adorable! So you have to expand about the cloth diapers - WHY?
