So have you ever watched The Sound of Music? Well in case you haven't she makes clothes for the children out of the curtains in her room. We had a wedding to go to in Abeokuta and Victor had this fabric picked out for us. Instantly when I saw it I thought of curtains, and the movie The Sound of Music I wasn't sure how it was going to look as an outfit. The curtains in my house are pretty much the same color so that is probably where I got the thought from. All the Africans kept telling me that it goes good with my skin color. Yeah that may be true but still it is not my favorite fabric. We had a great time at the wedding!
Victor was the Chairman of the wedding so we got to sit at a special table.

yeah thats awesome, I love the curtains katie, very suiting, but once you get past the unique pattern I like what dress you made for yourslef and maelyn, and the fabric is much better than the dude in blue on the left of victor in that first pic. I like maelyens hair too! And thank you debbie for making her post! You know for being in africa you should have a ton to post about all the time! not that I am much better, I havnt posted in forever but thats because I am trying to start my own website and I have not had time to actually finish it. So I have been waiting to post pics until then.
So how different was the reception? was it awesome/super lively?
